well, i just bought a 2nd hand ps3 80gb fat that is v2.45 Model number:cechk06
i wanna know how to jailbreak it. i tried searching this forum but it's kinda confussing and i need some answers..

1. why is it that cfw stuck at 3.55??
2. how do i actually patch latest game(or it can't be patch?) to play at cfw v2.55?
3. do i need a external hdd to play games? if so, what format and how to install the game into the hdd?
4. what kind of apps do i need to actually make it work and play
5. what is true blue? is it a cfw name or??

can anyone post the link of the thread that is for jailbreaking the ps3??
i know i'm lazy but it's kinda confussing and i don't want to mess up

sorry, but what is true blue?? i saw some of game links and beside it writes "true blue"

what does that mean?

True blue is a dongle that allows you to play certain games.

The vast majority do not know how to do it past 3.55

so every ps3 have blu-ray right?
i saw some post saying they're unable to use blu-ray after changing to cfw??
if new games requires TB, does it mean i have to wait a little longer for it to work on cfw3.55

no one knows there are some peaple working to create a new solution ,,,, they may find solution or may not find anything ,,, time only knows ,,, if you want to play new games now u have to buy the dongle or wait....
