firmware 2.80
hi guys,
im new to the ps3 cfw scene,today i was lucky enough to get a ps3 with 2.80 firmware, what is the procedure from this point to putting cfw on it, any help or links would be great, thanks in advance |

Upgrade to 3.55. Make 100% sure that it is firmware 3.55. From there you can install any cfw you want.

ok sounds good, how do i make sure its 100%, and what is the best cfw to use?

OFW 3.55 Umm most people say Rebug firmware, but I don't know. |

Rebug or Kmeaw.
Rebug has more features oob (which I don't know if you will be using. They are useful, and not only for developers), while Kmeaw is _very_ stable. I don't know if kmeaw and rebug is equally stable though, but rebug is also known for being stable among other things. |
