I need a new PC!

I've already thrown it together and saved you the trouble. I just need a video card, and would prefer nvidia.

The problem is when I start looking at benchmarks, where I see 200 dollar cards (GTX480) performing faster than the newer (800 dollar) GTX590... My friend swears up and down by his 560 though there are faster alternatives for the same price. Any suggestions?

Tl;dr: I need an nvidia video card for around 200 bones. I already have everything else put together.

There is no way in hell a 460 is faster than a 590.

590's are a bit of a waste though, they aren't that much better than a 580.

So my suggestion is to get a 580 3gb if you can find one.

The best card for your budget is a GTX 560 TI.
Here it is:
Zotac AMP! GTX 560 TI
************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
Here's a better one. It exceeds a little your budget but you can spare a little more and buy it.

HIS IceQ X HD 7850 - 244,99$ - 224,99$ after mail-in rebate

Ah, i didn't see that he had a budget, yes go for the 560ti, you won't get a 580 for $200.

I decided to go with that zotac, it seems to do well in the benchmarks compared to more expensive cards. Thanks for the help!
