The jailbreak aren't the keys. There are here to sign application's and pkg's as valied so we dont have to use a JIG device to make them run or install.
If we would know the usb master key for they JIG on 3.6+ fw's we could jailbreak also the new one's without the need of public,erk,riv,curve type and private key. |

No one except sony doesnt know the private keys. In 3.55 it was the flaw in sony's ECDSA algorithm that made possible for us to sign apps with our own keys ( public keys ) . We never knew the private key, and we never will know them...

A jig I believe he is referring to the factory jig. It's a usb drive that does other functions for the ps3 service side. So perhaps u send ur unit... Hehe i said unit.. to Sony for repair. They fix it with the jig. Google it. ... New thoery...tb got their hands on one and are replicating the process. Wonder where
@zadow28
is. Back to topic peek and poke are for backups so u can replicate a memory function to load and write.
U just need tgem signed to run. Hence why u can run a hfw 4.00 and u can install offical Sony signed pkgs. The keys are there to encrypt and decrypt different levels of code. Tone able to maybe find a diff exploit. Last edited by DjKlown; 04-15-2012 at 09:23 PM. |
