Not stupid question at all
 you can ask all you want.Yeah, in order to get dualboot you have but you can discard that option. But remember that not being on dual, you ps3 will stay on CFW. No online, no nothing. Except you have another PS3 with OFW.

You know, I'm a boss at soldering; but I just remembered that I have never gone online with my PS3 to really do anything, so why bother.
