Downgrading Ps3 phat 3.70 CECHG04 40GB
I couldn't find any information on how I should do it. And the information I found confused me as I found nothing about if cechg04 was nor or nand but then read somewhere that all phat were NAND.

Now to the question how do I downgrade it so that I can use homebrew on my ps3 ?
Can I use progskeet? The only downgrading tutorial I found here clearly states that I can't use that tutorial at least for downgrading with a NAND.

You have to be on 3.55 firmware and you need E3 flasher or progskeet to get it on it by downgrading from 3.70

I was more looking for information on how I do it then what I need and if it was possible with my ps3. So if you could link me to a thread with a guide I'd appreciate it.

Easier with newer nor flash. You dont need to solder .

hi!

why is this so confusing? it feels like everyone is writing everything as confusing as possible! :P

but anyway, i didnt feel like starting a thread.
i have been researching and found out that my ps3 isnt downgradeable.

now i've been trying to research another box.. a cechG04
and i dont really understand all the charts and stuff.
the thing is that i can buy one of these for about 60 bucks and the only problem would be the bdreader, but if i could get cfw on it then i could use a harddrive for backups.

so, can i downgrade a cechG04? i guess e3 flasher won't work with this at all still?

EDIT: and i apologize if i sound like a retard, i just want to get a better hang on this. i want to get into this scene alot more
