Hello. I was googling and I found in this forum the best place to make my help call. I've a PS3 CECHL ver001 with the RSOD problem, trying to fix it I managed to upgrade it to 4.0 firmware, after I see the e3 product i bought it and manage to install it and make a nor dump-backup, reading most of the tutorials and teorys i try to flash my firmware patched for the rsod fix, but now i just have a bricked console with no audio and video, and when i try to turn on gives 3 beeps and turns off. I have solder the sbe with tristane p0 point and stays on when i turn it, but my e3 flasher don't turn the blue leds, just stay on but no activity, other fact is that my e3 is to slow, considering that it takes like an hour or more just to make the backup. I wonder if there is someone that can help me please?
Sorry for the bad english... Here is my bios backup. http://www.mediafire.com/?x51b2c1xdp2mxbs |

After you get the ps3 unbricked, do the RSOD Fix.

PS3 killed by the official upgrade 4.11
Hi, I'm quite new to PS3 problems but I hope my question is simple and clear enough to understand the problem. My PS3 was killed during official (OFW 4.11) upgrade prcoess. It downloaded correctly up to approx 30% and started repeating the upgrade process over and over again. I have reformatted HD and even tested it with windows. No problem, & no complaints & works very well. I read somewhere that this problem is very common one on PS3 (bloody Sony). My best quess (after reading staff from web) is that the NOR bios is corrupted somehow? If this is the case it means that I cannot dump a correct backup of the NOR either. If above sounds reasonable for you read my question below.
My question; If I don't cant dump non corrupt NOR (slim PS3 CECH-2004A) out fo the PS3 box does the E3 downgrade and patch procedure still can cure the problem or is there any other way (except the SONY repair centre, whoch is out od the question) to fix it. Without your help I'm out in the blue I hope some of you might know this and give an advice, thx in forward

1-if you hawe the original bios beckup then flash again and ps3 work,2-attempt dummp bios (check with the program HxD if it is damaged) and patch for downgrade and then flash .look this:http://www.ps3devwiki.com/index.php?...hing#Progskeet

Can patching overvwrite bad locations of a damage bios and the PS3 recovers? Maybe clear for all of you, but certainly not for me yet. Anybody willing to give some extra light on this issue

I managed to repair brick ps3 with progskeet .1-dump bios,2-check the bios dump with HXD (hex editor) 3 Pacth your bios for downgrade (use WINSKEET-program) 4-flash your patchet bios back to ps3. PS3 BIOS IS UNIQUE!!!!
