I actually witnessed the altercation, Kobe just randomly called this dude a "faggut" (I know how it's spelled) ...and the two gay dudes behind Kobe (what they were doing there I don't know) ...covered their mouths in disbelief, this all resulting in Kobe being fined a RIDICULOUS amount of cash for saying "******" WOW. I know there should always be a level of respect, especially a professional basketball player, but seriously?

Where do you draw the line? I can call someone a "fat bastard" but in no way am I talking about the 6784576567586 fat bastards that live in my country, only about that 1 fat bastard in my lane. Our society has become this touchy, goal-less/purpose-less, mind-less mad house, where you can generalize about one race but never about another. The world has become American Idol, and it's ****ing gay and we don't like it.

I don't believe in game suspension, but they should fine him some serious dough. I don't promote that kind of behavior on ANY court, it defeats the purpose of sports. Artest hit this dude right behind the ear, a little more and dude would've been seriously injured.

I don't always agree with everything you say but I think you're definitely right about this one. America is going way too politically correct and sensitive. And I can't even stand Kobe Bryant, but still. First people want tolerance for their life choice and they get that and then they try to push it on other people. I don't care what they choose to do with their life but if I want to teach my children that it is wrong without hating people for it then I should be able to do so. The same with atheism. First they want religion out but now that they're getting that they are pushing their atheists beliefs on other people. The America of the past where men were men is gone. Now we have to deal with this metrosexual image we've painted ourselves with. The media is largely at fault for this. They tell people what's acceptable and what's not and people listen like sheep. IMO, most of it is people wanting to live comfortably in their own morality so they try to push it on others in order to continue doing it. People also need to stop apologizing for things they don't mean too. Every time the media chastises somebody for sharing a view that they don't agree with that person goes on to issue some public apology that they don't mean. It's fake and I'd rather know what that person stands for rather than watch them humor whomever they pissed off. It doesn't matter what people believe in, the almighty dollar is God now and the media, government, and sponsors that control that dollar is going to tell you what you like don't like as well as what you say and can't say.
