PS3 NOOB
I can repair any computer but not program them. I just want to jailbreak my (just updated to 4.11)PS3, be able to connect HDD to my PC and be able to read it, While still playing ps3 games, keep bluetooth drivers and video drivers and codecs. Mainly----jailbreak and keep the stuff i use, like netflix, media server, etc...... Maybe not possible so should i just buy another HDD to play around with?

You can not jailbreak over 3.55 , you would need hardware to downgrade it.

so the 4.11 update i downloaded is stuck in the system....not the HDD. CAn i remove it? or need to get external usb hdd to hack on?

The updates on a ps3 is "almost" the same as updating your bios on a computer. The only major difference is it will not let you go to an earlier "bios"
Being a computer guy I figured I'd give you a computer analogy. |
