So I've had Rebug's 4.00 FW Spoofer (from here: http://rebug.me/3-73-version-spoofer-2-1/) installed and activated on my 3.55 kmeaw PS3 since it came out, but now that 4.+ OFW is live, I don't really see a point in keeping it on my system. The problem is that I can't seem to uninstall it!

When I press L1+CROSS to deactivate, the PS3 reboots like it's supposed to, but when I check the XMB System Settings, it still says it's on 4.00 FW.

Then when I press L1+CIRCLE to uninstall, the PS3 again reboots like it's supposed to, but the XMB System Settings still says 4.00 FW.

How can I uninstall/deactivate this spoofer? Am I doing something wrong?

Try reinstalling rebug_selector 1.6.1 and activate the spoofer again, then uninstall it.

^^^^ He's right, but just in case if that doesn't work for you...

Try condorstrike's Condor Updater, to go directly into service mode and just install w/e 3.55 again.

Idk I use Rogero v 3.1 with 4.11 spoof in it and it works great. This will allow you to data transfer from 4.11 to 3.55 again. If you want it off you can do like pepethedon said and install firmware again
