I was playing the ****ty ass Gundam Crossfire game the other day and it was so horrible that I got disgusted and ejected the disc without even stopping the game. As I watched, the game loaded into the next level. So i exited and went back to the main menu. I then loaded back into the level and started to play. Is it possible that an exploit could be pulled from this happening?

This is normal for both games i own.

Files are copied off disc onto hdd and played from there. Once you get so far you need to insert the disc again.


and as far as can anything comming from it. try......but is doubtfull.

i think this was posted about before
the game installs onto the HD it doesn't really need the Disc to play but i might be wrong

Um, what? So then technically, couldn't you replace the files it tries to access with other code? We already know the PS3 doesn't check to see if the actual disc is loaded after the game is running.

that 4.5 GB file u installed to the HDD is the entire game, and if u delete the game data u cant play it with out the disc


i have that POS game too the only thing its good for is backing up to a DVD-R and testing with...

hahahaha... oh the plight of ps3 owners.... after we pay $500 for the system we can only afford two games... I also only have two games (assassin's creed and Virtua Fighter 5) lol. So basically this is a no go? I just thought that since it was installing the game to the hd that we could possibly trick it into starting the game by making a copy of the disc or something...

i paid 400 over a year ago for 60gb 2 controllers and 2 games and all cables

and to this day it is one of the better deals compared to what others have paid.
