Cant install 4.11
Guys I bought a ps3 slim with no HDD today but I had a 120gb HDD so thought no problem.
I formatted HDD on pc to FAT32 and put into slim and started ps3 but screen comes up saying plug in controller and then it says PS3 can not start please put 4.11 on usb etc etc Did this but all I get is "please wait checking" I have left it for ages and tried different USB sticks but still the same. Anyone any ideas ? Thanks |

did you put it on usb in fat32 and corect folder structure?on the root of usb you need to create folder PS3 in that folder you create next one caled UPDATE. you place PS3UPDATE.PUP there. then start up ps3 with usb pendrive and you should be good to go

Also check if the hash of the PS3UDAT.PUP that you downloaded is correct
