This does not affect me as long as Sony keeps the current way of game and this JUST a feature.

I don't see the point of cloud gaming on a game console, they should be able to play games without hardware revisions so why should i use a cloud to run a task that i bought a machine for? o.O

Agreed. There really is no point. I like consoles for the fact that I dont have to upgrade them and all the PS4 will be then is a proprietry gaming computer that you dont have to upgrade but you must be online to play.
Also Im in SA and in the retail business. There are more console gamers here that have no internet than those that do, by a mile. So at least in places like where I live, sony would lose a ton of cash because no one would buy a gaming console that requires an internet connection for games
