Yeah I dont like the idea of donations (thanks adrianc and geohot) but a bounty is actually a good idea. We could setup a donation pool, and as pockets said, the pool stays there until someone comes forward with information that proves that the crap reDRM dongle is cracked. As time goes by the poll will get bigger leading people to race against each other to destroy this plague once and for all

I think the rules should be:
1. Proof of Concept shown.
2. Released for free, open source.
3. A working proof that anyone can download and test.
4. Perhaps a port of the dongle sw to other devices would count, like psp/phone. But again has to be a free, open source program with source code provided.

I agree with all but point 3 and 4. You dont want some noob downloading a test file, without knowing what they are doing, then blame the dev for their stupidity and brick. This will discourage devs. Also point 4 is unneeded because I am sure the method can be rolled into MFW. There is already an experimental MFW builder task that allows the loading of fself (which is believed by some to be the source of the TB updates)

The reward should go to the person that can post a working TB crack and not some alpha or beta. We dont need more waninkoko bricks

Which is sad considering he uses the Sony SDK to compile MM.....Making a reward is different though. PSX-Scene has those gay little contests to give the devs of this community some friendly competition and incentive (even if they have picked crap as the winner in the past) So consider this a contest Whoever cracks TB gets the prize.

allow me to disagree i don't want a proof of concept.

for this to be setup correctly:
A fund would be created money would be added by everyone who would like too, and bounty given to the developer that got a WORKING FREE SOLUTION out, no proof of concepts no half projects, a working free solution, a port to a dongle or whatever is ok, as long as its free, or implemented in a cfw itself.

can someone open a poll to see what other users think, should we go for it or not?
