Even when it is on wiki, it is useless unless you have a Debug/DEX or if you HAVE newer keys that no one has, AND are into reversing and coding, so why even bother with your Retail/CEX console? Even bananas and oranges will be more usefull and nutrient for your brains.

True but one day we will be able to convert CEX to DEX then back again, the only reason why DEX is good is that most hombrew still works on it, and it could be an easier way to make new better hombrew and get some keys. I don't understand why maybe its cause I need more fruit but there is something interesting about it, and no one will let the DEX thing go.

The blueray drive from a 2501 will not be compatible with a motherboard from a 2001.

Probably, but you would first need to build an adapter because the connectors on a bd drive from a 2501 are physically incompatible with the receptacles on a 2001.

Also you may need to modify/build a custom pup that will install the correct bd drive firmware.

Isn't the bd logic board built into the mobo, on the 2500. They are different than the 2000. The drive themselves are different.
