PS3 DOWNGRADING
I do both "nand" and "nor" flash. In order to find what type of flash your PS3 has you must look on the back of your system for a white sticker, and on that white sticker there will be numbers followed by the letters "cech". The part that determines what flash you have is the letter that comes afgter "cech" (for example the white sticker will have something like this "serial:ce504376823 - cechg01") so in this case the letter you are looking for is the "G". If the letter after cech is "A" - "G" then you have "NAND" flash but if it is "H" or above you have "NOR" flash You are able to go online on a modded ps3 but there is always a EXTREMLY HIGH RISKof being banned. downgrades are usually done the same day the system is recieved and shipped back the day after. XBOX MODS For X-Box mods a can either flash your drive to play game backups (Drive flashes are x-box live safe) or i can j-tag/rgh your system to play games off the hard drive without the need for any disc. When your system is RGH/JTAGG'ed you will not be able to go on x-box live without getting banned. but thanks to the Xbox modding scene there is now a feature that is only for modded x-box's called "LINK". Link is just like XBOX live except, 1. you don't have to pay for it and 2. you'll be playing against other people with modded systems only. so if you are someone who has alot of friends that play on live with you i would recommend getting your drive flash but if you don't play on x-box live much then RGH/JTAGG is definitely for you. When contacting me about any x-box mod please have your motherboard type, dash version and x-box model (slim or fat) ready. In order to find your x-box mother board type there are a few ways. One of the easiest ways to do this for slim x-box's is to look at what the voltages are on the back of the x-box. on the back there will be a sticker and on the sticker will be a "CE" logo and a " ! " in a circle. below them 2 logos will be some voltage number, the numbers we are interested in are the ones after 12v. they will either be "10,83A" or "9,6A". if it is "9,6"then you have a corona motherboard, (please take note of the mfr date also if you have a corona) and if the numbers are "10,83A" then you have a trinity motherboard. if you have a fat xbox you can tell what motherboard you have by looking at the picture in the image below that shows the power brick input ports. you can find your dash version by following the steps listed below.... 1.)Power on the console and go to the dashboard. 2.)Scroll up or down on the dashboard's main menu to "My Xbox." 3.)Scroll all the way to the right to "System Settings" from the "My Xbox" section. 4.)Press "A" to open the "System Settings" menu list. 5.)Choose "Console Settings" by highlighting it and pressing "A." 6.)Select "System Info," located at the bottom of the resulting "Console Settings" list. Notice the information lining the bottom of the next screen. 7.)View your Xbox 360's version. The dashboard version number is located to the right of "D:" at the bottom of resulting page. ![]() Last edited by urbananonymous; 4 Days Ago at 01:27 PM. |
