HD cable & my ps3

I just bought a HD cable my for my ps3 it seems to be working fine but the color red is very brown (for example the ps3 logo is brown instead of red) i made sure the cables are connected the right way any suggestions?

ka did you buy an hdmi cable?

if u did then go into settings then under that display settings select hdmi and go threw those

also go into your tv display setting perhaps you would tell you your what yorutv is and what model so we can be more helpfull

its not an HDMI cable ends have 2 reds, blue, green,& white the ps3 reads it and everything i have a sony bravia dont know the model #.

You should buy a real HDMI cable instead. What you bought, i think is a y/pb.... something, can't remember the proper name for it.. but i'm almost sure of what it is... cause i use the same for my Wii (cause i doesn't support true HD).... A true HDMI cable only has on input in each end, and provides a sweet picture (on my samsung 1080p TV anyway). You can get it almost anywhere for about 800 Danish KR (Again sorry for not knowing the price in US Dollar or Euro). It's worth the money

wtf thats not even an "HD" cable... HDMI are very cheap now, no need to go for component cable...

800 Danish KR is abit mutch, I got my 5 meter hdmi kable for about 150 Danish KR (about 20 Euro) you just need too know the right place, I bought mine from an internet site cant remember the name

yeah it's a digital cable so the losses below 15 feet are so very minute that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you were looking for it...so the cheaper the better...however the max i've seen a cheap hdmi that i know of was a little less than 60 feet or around 20 meters and we compared it to a gold plated expensive cable and we couldn't tell the difference..Gotta love digital
