PS3 Capacitor question

I did an oven bake on my ps, I have done several before but this time I took the thermometer lead out when I opened the door and it hit a capacitor on the way out knocking it off. So while I was looking for where it went i noticed another had come off. Now I think i'm good enough at soldering to get them back on and they are 2 different sizes so I know where they go but I need to know if there is a positive and a negative side to them and if so which is which and which way does it go? I'm sure if I don't put them on right then it will mess it up so If anyone can help I sure would appreciate it.

Yes, I see the one side is marked and that's probly the pos side but I'm not sure I understand the rest of the message. I don't see any marks on the board in that area, much less ones that coincide with what you wrote in the second part of the message.

looks like your mobo is most similar to the first 2 links in euss post. use that as reference and solder them back on.

PS: i do not recommend oven trick.

As you have probably already heard a reball is the best fix. I actually don't have a legit reason for not using the oven trick other then the fact that it is essentially the same as a reflow with a heat gun and is going to potentially damage it further. Bsides that reason I find that just sticking a motherboard into an oven sounds imo bad lol.

Indeed it is

Reflow is:
removing, cleaning up pads, making new balls, reflux, and again heat it up ovenly/evenly*

Manufacturing is:
having clean pads, having new balls, flux, heat it up ovenly/evenly*

* pun intended :P
