How to get Act.dat?

Once again i got upsesed by getting reactpsn to work, however no luck there.

From what i gathered during some research is reActPsn needs act.dat to work. I started looking into the topic but, unfortunattely had no luck getting an specific asnwer how act.dat is generated. So far i only figured out i need to be able to get onto PSN (which is finally possible).

Would anyone be so kind and explain how to get the act.dat?

If your PS3 has never been on PSN/SEN before (like my PS3) , when you use reactPSN, it will create one for you. As @euss stated, look in file location : home/000000XX/exdata after using reactPSN to locate it.

I know it is supposed to be in home/0000000X/exdata (checked dev_hdd0/home/0000000X/exdata on multiman file manager), however it's not there. I tried running reactPSN 2 and 2.2, can't find a single file in that folder.

Whenever i run reactPsn it leaves a "This Fixed mode need 3.41CFW" and it doesn't generate the act.dat, but the backup function seems to work fine.
Any idea why that might happen?
