Please give me ideas for a set up.

I want a deca-core or octo-core. Quad core went out the door when 2010 did. 32GB ram, an HD TV tuner Card. That processor better be fast and a 3TB HDD. Oh and recommend a PSU to accommodate all this.

graphic depends if u prefer nvidia or ati [im gonna be upgrading soon and i chose a gtx670 direct cu ii] really just depends on how much you want to spend
if i were u id also buy a ssd or raptor to put windows on you dont want ur os on a 3tb drive

BUT, If you're buying parts then there's alot of complareable items you need to look at between each brand.

You can buy a pc for cheap as chips that plays everything like my flatmates that does everything you expect as apposed to what i believe would be more expensive buying indivuel parts (gaming/video/multimedia ****/ and other ****) or spend heaps on individule parts for nothing better that what you were originally looking at.?

You want deca or octo core processor?what for?if you want a gaming rig quad core is enough.no game would benefit from more than for cores.If for a gaming rig I recommend something like a Intel core I7 3770 (3770k if your going to overclock) processor,for a GPU a recomment maybe gtx 680, XFX 1000W Pro Series 80 Plus Platinum PSU and a ASUS Sabertooth Z77 motherboard.

@plex thats wrong firstly that rig u just showed me is way overpriced
you could build it for $200 less it doesn't have a graphics card so it couldnt play sh!t.
the main reason building a rig is better than buying one is the motherboard
if you buy a pre built rig like that it will have a cheap MB and ram
the only good piece of hardware in it would be the cpu!
