Hi all,

Ok peeps i currently have a CECHG03 3.55 cfw 750gb hd in front of me installed with MultiMan and also a genuine True Blue Dongle with the firmware at 2.62.I will openly admit that i am very new to this and am looking for some general advice as to where to start some research really before going in head first and possibly doing something i will end up regretting .So thanks anyway all for reading this i do know the absolute basics but thats about it.

If you mean getting the dil...dongle to work then try sticking it up your.....ps3's usb port considering you also have their CFW installed.

If not then download and install OFW 3.55 and then download install TB CFW/MFW..... I think, I dont have one but it seems pretty straight forward i think.

Ok thanks for that, sorry for mentioning TB, should i not ? i obviously do not know the etiquette of the site yet as i have only been a member for about 10 minutes but it obviously does not take long to start figuring out.

Yeah you can talk about TB but alot of folks don't support it.

Install TB CFW from recovery menu to get into recovery menu when the ps3 is off hold down power button until the machine shuts off then hold the power button again until you hear it beep like 3 time the beeps are real fast so you can't miss.

When in recovery menu go to the option system update and follow on screen prompts. Note remove any game discs in the drive. Also if you have a spoofer installed you need to uninstall it.

Then after that update your dongle and you should be good to go
