How can you know that a ps3 can be hacked? In other words how can you know that your ps3 will have a 3.XX firmware( if you go buy one from the store )?

If you want to buy one from a store be sure to find a (small) store with old stock because FW 3.55 is about 1.5 years old now and most stores don't have models that old anymore.... No need to look at big stores that sell so much PS3's that they get new stock every month or so.

Better search for a used one IMHO...
