Safe?
They should be fine as far as sales are concerned with TLoU and Beyond, but the problem is Sony failed me @ E3 because these two titles plus GOW Ascension are 2013 titles. Biggest hit PS3 titles @ E3 2012 to be released in 2013. Anyone else see that as a risk in itself? For me personally, TLoU and Beyond are rentals, just like the big Hollywood blockbusters, you watch them once or twice and you're good for a year or two before you want to hit them up again. Uncharted and Heavy Rain were no different for myself and almost all my friends. |

The Last of Us: Uncharted fans will buy that ****, it will sell like hotcakes I don't see this being any different because its a new ip, the rep of the dev will do. It really reeks of Uncharted which is why I am not going to install it on my ps3
Behond: Two Souls, until now quantic dream games have proven to be successful but it is indeed risky PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Since when is shamelessly copying the competition a risky move. Most people, even sony fans can agree that this is a shameless SSB clone. maybe some new stuff and changes but really it could even be a good clone but ultimately it does take a hell of a lot from SSB, even if you are going to compare fat princess with Princess peach the movesets are very much the same. , Beyond: Two Souls, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle |

I have to say I haven't played any PS3/360 games for a long time (I think the last game I played was God of War 3) But the Last of Us has really drawn my eye. Not too fussed about the Super Smash Bros rip off or the other one (never played Heavy Rain soo perhaps I don't know what I might be missing) but the Last of Us looks right up my street.
I just hope there's a way to play it by the time it's released. (without updating of course)

Yes (in reply to your question), they have caught my eye. The titles look amazing and can't wait to play them.
The risk here is the general people not knowing the titles contrary to franchises like Uncharted, if they came out with a new Uncharted, when people look at it, they know what they're getting (if they've played it). If they see one of these new titles, the risk is from people that don't know who made the games, don't know what they're about and haven't seen the trailers. Not everyone watched E3. That's where advertising comes in...

Screw it....
F*CK E3 FAGG0TS They should just go and die if they gonna make another dongle. I guess I will put my PS3 back to OFW and buy the games that I cannot get on PC and those that are 3D-person only since I like to play 3DP games with joystick. (Games like (upcoming The Last Of Us, Beyond), Uncharted, R&C etc.)

Heavy rain is a great psychological thriller since you can interact with it, i enjoyed the story line and the turning points in the game, the tasks you had to do to prove yourself worthy were fun situations.
it didnt get the attention it deserved, i couldn't convince people to play it due to the controls, but it made it thrilling, if you can get used to the start and the first turning point, it gets a lot better.
