PS3 YLOD Repair

Hi guys,

I have a question about repairing the YLOD. Basically I've repaired my PS3 (60GB Launch model) around 5 times using the heat gun method. It's gone again now and I think I should reball it but I'm not sure whether it will actually work. I have the equipment but not the experience so I'm hoping youtube will help there.

My question is since my PS3 has been reflowed so many times, what is the chance of the reball working? Also are there are any other precautions i can take to stop it happening again? I want to repair my PS3 to jailbreak it since my slim is on v4.20 and I want to keep it to play online.

My suggest is to change the GPU RSX chip because you have too many times reflow and chip are damaged.
