System restore from 4.10 hdd to a ps3 on 3.55
I have a hdd system backup from my now dead PS3 on OFW 4.10 and I want to restore this system (profile, saves, etc) to my new 3.55 PS3. Will this work or will a system restore turn my 3.55 into a 4.10 system? I haven't been able to find a definitive answer. The backup was made with the 'official' ps3 backup utility...

The back up should just be the contents of the HDD (games, photos, music, video, etc), not the firmware.
