I know it only says 40 some odd posts, but I have been in the scene for sometime so please dont belittle me over my ignorance.

I have spoofed my system as many of you have and in trying to see which games work and which do not many were updated and then later returned an error code. I have gone into game data utility and those updates are not there, otherwise I would have deleted them. The games are on my external HDD. I have looked in the specific games to see if data was changed in the update folders and nothing appears.

Also, if anyone can tell me. How do you get Mortal Kombat working online on a 3.55 spoofing 4.20? My game is BLUS-30522 and after update returned an error code.

look in the game data utility folder on your ps3, not the external hdd.

As for MK I dont know, Are you useing the PSN/SEN enabler or ps3ita PSoN?

I did look there. 2 of the games were Mortal Kombat 9 and the Crysis 2 and there is no data in the game data folder.

Strange, I think there was a tool a while back for allowing update data on an external... did you update manually via pkg or automatically via mMcM?

Im currently using the PSoN, but I was previously using the same one as everone else and that is the one that I tried to update and then later ran into the error code.

I just clicked the game from the xmb and it said an update was available and I accepted it. After update the game returned the error.

You have to realize this is the first time since the first version of ****PSN that my system has had PSN access so no updates were available to me and all my games worked fine.

ahhhh maybe the update requires FW higher than 3.55 in which case you need to download cracked version of the update. ill try find u a link.

I briefly contemplated having a female hand reach in and poke it with a needle and have it fly around limp balloon style, but the work creating all the animation frames scared me off. LOL

AFAIK if you update the game to 1.05 your game will not work because the update requires 3.60 keys.

This patch is signed with 3.55 so it works :D
