I think is sad to know that so many time has passed and the only firmware hackable ( haxable? haha) is 3.55... so everyone in the world with a firmware higher than that is ****ed. What does that mean?

I guess this page is for ppl under or in 3.55, for ppl above that is only a page you see to " not loose hope" but being realistic i think the playstation 3 protection for 3.55 above is kind of unbreakable?. Im a civil architect so i don´t know nothing about this and i would like someone with knowledge to tell me if the hope is worth to have or if there is nothing to do in the future to break this with software, im not going to solder nothing to my console ( maybe i would attach a drive ) as some german site suggest,

but seriously is there a real hope for us or we should leave it like it is?

Awe don't be scared to use the hardware flasher, you can always get another machine.

You can only downgrade to the FW the PS3 had when it left the factory, if that happens to be FW 3.56+ a flasher won't help to get to the holy grale 3.55....

Mine came with 3.56+ in fact it was 3.6 something-
