hello from canada ontario
hello all I'm new to this forum I'm looking for help hacking my ps3 slim new out of the box it has firm 3.66 if anyone can help me with jail braking this unit it I catch on fast so if you can point me to a go read step by step what have you.

I'm from canada ontario also! I'm new here so i don't know how to hack yet, i just thought i would say that, im sure someone else would be able to help you =)

@homersdss If you have bought your console brand new recently, chances are it will not be downgradable. And if so, you will need to acquire some hardware to flash the console. You can check out the PS3 Help threads HERE

First thing to do is download the minverchk pup somewhere: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php...ight=minverchk If it says 3.56 or above there is no way to downgrade at all, not even with a flasher....
