ps3 downgrade cech2501a - PS3Hax Network

Hey everyone, I have a 160gb CECH2501A with a MFD of September 2010, which means its a 0C model, I know I can downgrade this to 3.55. how would I check the datecode to be sure though, as I have an NTSC console? And Is this downgradable for sure?
