u dont know that maybe they are doing CFW of 4.xx for online gaming but still needs to customized eBoot just to keep u short leash

I believe E3 sales are slowing down and they want to put out the dongle with the game patches fast to get sales up. Then they will start working on the cfw with some money still being generated. I think they need money now so they are going to get their dongle out ASAP, without worrying about features until future updates. and the cfw will only get them more money so I don't see why they wouldn't do it. Btw I didn't think it was hard making a cfw after you had the keys.

not unless the cfw 4.xx only loads/boots with their dongle inserted in the ps3

then you would need their dongle to play them on their cfw 4.xx

If the cfw is on 4.xx then you should be able to throw a 4.xx game in the system and make it run... there wouldnt be any need to patch a game to work on a higher fw if you're already on that firmware.

Assume you have the dongle and their fw loaded... you are now on cfw 4.xx

why would you still need a game patch for a 3.73 game??? it should load on 4.xx cfw w/ their dongle in right, no patch necessary?

As I tried to explain in previous posts, perhaps the cfw 4.xx wont boot when u turn on ur PS3 unless it detects an E3 dongle inserted in the usb port.
