get the options to show first. this is the best way to check you are qa-flagged
L2 L3 R2 R3 press LEFT stick in (L1) and press down on the direction pad
this all needs to be pressed in together

ok dear...i did it...i got the new options after the combo keys.

i like to know what file of firmware i should use:
there is PS3UPDAT.PUP in main folder together with the qa toggle

and

there is similar file in PS3 folder inside ...

After confirming Qa toggle is on, install OFW 3.55 from the recovery menu, or with Condor updater.

Then install any CFW from the XMB.

Really i got kmeaw on my other ps3 two years now...im satisfied with it...dont know abot rebug or rogero and i see most ps3 games packups patched for this 3.55 CFW...not for rebug or rogero...that's why....

maybe you can be useful in this case and tell me new things about rebug & rogero ...

well this what i will do when i install E3 + downgrade.

i will de-hash the thing

then enter recovery menu the old fashion way install 3.55 OFW 1st!
then install kmeaw CFW, then REBUG_3.55.3_REX, then do 1 more de-hash just in case and then install REBUG_4.21.1_REX through XMB (i read some were you have to install this through XMB after de-hash)

this is long processes because i read some were you get all total features + i think LV1 + LV2 patched/unlocked properly.

The perks of the new 4.21+ CFWs, is that you dont' have to patch any games.

The highest firmware games require right now is 4.25. So if you are on Rogero 4.30, you can play all games without any patches. No more, searching for or replacing eboots.
On Rebug 4.21.1, since it is 4.21 CFW, most games don't need patching. The few that need 4.25, are easily fixed with multiMAN. When you open a game with mm and it needs a higher firmware, it will ask you it you want mm to fix it for you.

Rebug has a lot of extra debug settings, that the average user won't use. But if you love Kmeaw (like I do) Rogero 4.30 v2.03 CFW is for you. It is nice and simple like Kmeaw.

Just trying to give you an option where you don't have to worry about patches and all that. Plus most homebrew apps and PSN titles have been resigned for the new CFWs, so you won't have to worry about that either.

It is all preference though. If you like fixing all your games to play on 3.55, then stay on Kmeaw. I am not knocking Kmeaw, because it is one of the best CFWs that have stood the test of time, with no updates.

Hey guys. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. Maybe you can help? Have an e3 clipped to a NOR Spansion right now and ran my initial dump using the instructions provided. E3 runs through the dump just fine (no error codes) then when I throw it into Flow Rebuilder (v.4.2.2.0) to Byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump file it gives me this:
OPERATION COMPLETED WITH ERRORS!

Could not successfully extract all Dump files because an error occured.
Part of files has been extracted here:
"Location on drive"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
