Ok, sorry. To answer your question - yes, you could try to edit the PARAM and game folder name to match, but there's no guarantee that it'll work with that game.

If it doesn't work and if you have bought the game then I don't think downloading the game from the internet would hurt because you already paid for the game.

Still illegal if you live in the US

This is how you can make it work
1. If it's a pkg fix, replace the original EBOOT and SELF files of the EUR ver with the US Ver and then install the pkg.
2. If it's a EBOOT fix, edit the PARAM.SFO and you should be done.

@AsSiTcH Well pirating is illegal in my country too, but I download things like movies and games (I buy those I really love and think are a must buy) for years know and nothing bad happened.

Even though it is illegal, the government is not coming after the end user. They are trying to shut down the sites that provide the files users are pirating.

For example Demonoid is gone.

You may also get an email, from your internet provider. About downloading stuff you are not suppose to. But a simple program like Peerblock can stop that.
