They compare IOS and Android games to PS3, Xbox 360, and PC games lol. They are cheap for a reason, they don't take nearly as long to make since most are short games to pass some time by. So what because Fruit Ninja is $2 they will rather play that then Call of Duty? Halo? Uncharted because it's more then $2, I doubt it. I understand where he is going with it because yes it's true games should not be priced at $60+ that I find is utterly ridiculous. At the very most it should be $40 for a new release. If only they would see that they would sell more by making it available to more people at a lower price point. Companies like Steam know that, and they get massive buyers when a game is at -75% off, because even if you pay $5 for a game and hate it, it's not a lot lost.

Most games aint even worth the price they ask for
Most of the games are designed for online play not everyone
Has internet why should that person fork out more when he
Doesnt play online they should have system where you pay $30 for non online
And $40 for online and as gameplay there is not much there more so focusing on graphics and online
They should focus more on gameplay maybe when everyone in the world has a affordable and fast internet then they should focus on the online side

And as for $60+ where paying lik $100+ for games out this way
I only notice a slight drop after the ps3 got hacked where games on release date
Is like $90 and after a week or 2 goes $100

1. Android, iOS games? seriously? This is like comparing sh*t to sandwich ;p
2. There are many dinosaurs like me who prefer physical product than digital
3. Games are not THAT expensive. Last game I paid 60$ for was Dark Souls and that was pre-ordered Collectors Edition.

Some games that are both on mobile devices and consoles and handheld or even consoles differ quite a lot in price while they are essentially the same product. Sure your big console hits should be of a higher pricepoint but especially with handhelds do we get relatively small games that in terms of content should be priced around 2$ and are so if they are ported to mobile devices for sometimes even full price. so in that sense I would call the dinosaurs. also going all digital doesn't solve the problem its more a matter of lower costs for the devs and more open competition. Even on pc I buy quite a lot of the time retail because a webshop offers it for far less than fullprice so really its more a matter of costs and culture than a matter of going digital or not.

Most of you don't realize this but Apple is owning Sony and Nintendo in the handheld market, and is drying out the console market every day.

Also with all the steam sales and such I would even say pc gaming is a lot cheaper than console gaming if you buy a reasonable amount of games, especially if you compare it to the 360 with its xbox live online fee.

I will gladly go apple if they had a good game, but all they have is garbage. Same with Android. The Vita and the 3DS cater to a different market than your run of the mill fruit ninja mobile phone game. The Vita and 3DS have games with more depth and story, but can also go into the same genre as phones since they do have touch screens. Well at least the vita has a capacitive touch screen...
