main problem is gaming is about graphics and experience.

people want the best of both worlds.

sure some simple graphics game will be good, yet for games that aim for realism they would want the system with the best graphics for those too

Another big issue is control comfort and performance. The Wii u controller does not look ergonomic at all, and touchscreen game controls still suck, even on phones where they have been evolving for years. You would think Nintendo learned their lesson about bad controls when so many people refused to get a Wii due to the delayed movement of the original controller (and even of the upgraded version, but to a lesser extent). Clearly all they brought away from that is the fact that most gamers don't want to stand up to play games. I really have to wonder about the performance of the Wii u...lacking graphics power is one thing, but future gales are going to need a lot more than just graphics performance. We are already seeing RPG titles that work poorly (if at all) on consoles due to lack of memory. Turn such a game into a MMORPG and now you need some decent processing power just to keep everything in relation. I still think the most immediate issue with cross platform games will be controls (and lack of buttons on the Wii u) but the processing power will come into the picture at some point.

It's the same battle always = the damn controls.
If they want to go so much for *Touch* well, they are going the wrong way.
Even Xb0x360 failed with Kinect among another gadgets to name a few (move..)

They want to drag you IN the history, but has the sideffect of bad control mapping and the control itself. The final objective is YOU being the control like the movie = Gamer.

In other words the gap between next gen gaming consoles and pc will already be rather big from the start, I can't image how bad the consoles may seem compared to the pc 7 years after that.

On the matter of controls if sony just shipped with a slightly enhanced ps-move it would be all that is needed in terms of controls maybe a dualshock 3 as fallback and with slightly enhanced move I mean better navigator with motion sensors this time around. also the Wii-u controller is not that unconfortable as people make it seem or at least that is how I think about it. for example its not heavy at all and width doesn't really matter much in the end. So really it doesn't look that bad. Hell a psvita is wide and noone talks about that being unconfortable. I trust Nintendo on this as they know quite well what is ergonomic and what is not. Even still you can use a wiimote or conventional controller.

i personally think this will be a good a thing this gen they tried to make consoles like pc's which was a stupid move seeing pc hardware progresses so fast.
i play my pc if i want full immersion
and i'll play my consoles if im kicking back with a beer, but the ps3 dosent give me this experience (with most titles) and the lack of multiplayer was a big let down for me sure u can lan some games but who really wants to do that when they have a pc sitting right next to them

Errr.... This site used to be a general gaming/hacking site before pirate moved the domain to ps3hax. News is dry and I found this article interesting.

How can a Nintendo official speculate on his rivals' consoles when NO verified information has been given to the public? Sound like he wants to calm the userbase so they buy a Wii-U at launch.
