It has been mentioned in the leak thread somewhere on the first 10 pages that it could be possible to upgrade to 4.xx Dev and be able to play all the latest games, but I guess no one has tried it yet

OK, I am confused here with some of the wording in the FAQ.

Can we play 3.60+ game (backups) with this?
Yes IF you are to decrypt 3.60+ selfs, so NO, only if you get your hands on the decrypted eboots (thats how tb works).

Can we play 3.60+ (originals)?
YES, just update and play.

I understand no Backups above 3.55, But what is with the comment about 3.60+ (originals) the just update and play? Are you saying just update to the OFW or when we update to The DEX 4.20 all of retail games that are 4.20 and below will work? See why I am confused?

no, update to 3.60 dex or 3.70 dex and play, then downgrade using the system software update, if you want. or 4.20 dex, whatever dex LOL, as long as it is dex.

if this gets patched by sony however, you might not be able to upgrade anymore, past 4.21... so be carefull...

@Pockets69 , So it has some perks. I for one just for that makes it a good idea to have. For those of use who Can not afford to buy another ps3.

Edit: But my next question, If all the lords of High are against this coming out. Who will take up the quest to make this work for the end users?
