Gday,

I just purchased a PS3 in order to jailbreak but it turned out to be un jailbreakable it was a the latest model

I took that back and got CECH-2102B, Please tell me that this time I will be able to jailbreak this one ha ?

Ive looked and read multiple threads and what not but cant work out if ive done good this time.

Yeah mate I had a look at those sites, but I don't really understand it, I want to just jailbreak by using USB no soldering or what not? what determines if you need to solder?

Sorry m8 but if u want to jailbreak u cant do it by usb, you will have to buy a flasher, open up ur ps3 and install a clip if u use an e3. you dont need to solder but u still need to buy the clip

sorry but no and i think that even if it comes out ( doubt it) it would be worth more if u get and e3 flasher cos it lets u run 3.55 cfw and also lets u play online if u dualboot the ofw( u only need to solder 1 wire, dont worry not to hard)

if i were u i would get an e3 limited or buy the normal one and get an esata station

So is there a step before you use the usb jailbreak or something?

Whats with all the videos and what not saying you load firmware onto a usb and connect to PS3 and then update from that USB?

that only works when your ALLREADY on 3.55 ofw. but to get there you need a flasher. can i ask what firmware u on right now

The PS3 has been restored its second hand is on 3.50
