Ok, so I just need a universal plugin adapter (x to USA), I don't need to worry about voltage/amp being converted to US or anything since there close without casing any problems, right?

*The 'E3 Flasher 3K Limited' and 'E3 card reader AVR' will arrive sometime within a week, so can't wait for it to get here.*

Also: I was looking around and noticed some people used a program/plugin called 'reActPSN' for getting the DLC for the game I'm going to install the English patch for.
Is it recommended I get/use that, will it cause problems, or as long as I follow the steps, I'll be ok?

OR, should I wait till all items are here, then ask what steps I need to do in what order in this topic or make new one?

When you get all the necessary stuff, then first you need to install it. There are various guide to installing it. After you get it installed then you can follow guides to downgrading with e3 flasher. There are several out there. Playerkp420 has a good one. Then if you run into problems, then start a thread about that problem or question, or search to see if someone else had the same problem and already have an answer. The forum will help you, but you must first tryto help yourself by researching and following already prepared guides and tuts. Good luck man.

Ok, I'll try reading/following all the guides first, then make a topic if I have trouble/questions.

Any idea on the 'reActPSN' program, or do I need to make a new topic about if/can I should use it or not?

Also: I just noticed above in the banner that the Firmware downgrdable highest is v4.20.
That's good to know, but I still need to use the 'E3 Flasher 3K Limited' and 'E3 card reader AVR' on mine to downgrade to v3.55, right?

IIRC: v3.55 is the most recommended and good version for what I'm doing, right?

Yeah. 3.55 is the golden goose, unless you want other OS such as Linux. If the console is on 3.56 or more it doesn't matter what firmware the console is on, it will need to be hardware flashed. I am unsure of react psn, because I never use it.

ReactPSN is for DLC content. DLC content is tied to an PSN account and that is what the program activates. (TL;DR It allows you to play DLC content that you'd need a psn account to work)

Just got the E3 stuff tody, lots of reading to do

Just thought I'd update with that I got the E3 stuff today (technically yesterday, but a friend needed help with there PC, again) so I took the day to help them...didn't' get anytime to myself till after midnight, so went to bed and woke up today.

It doesn't really appear to have any instructions on how to use it, unless it's under all the delicate looking 'E3 NOR flasher' stuff.
*a little scared I might do something wrong, but I'll take it slow with one step at a time*

I'll also re-read some stuff before I attempt this, so just wanted to say Thank you to everyone that has helped me.
*btw: Good thing I grabbed a power adapter thing, because those two round prongs wouldn't' have fit in these USA sockets here*

Now, on to the reading/re-reading!!

Good luck man. We will help you if you run into problems. Just make sure to ask if you are unsure before botching the whole thing. If there is something you don't know or it does something it shouldn't, stop right there and research or ask. Don't do like most noobs and just skip steps or continue anyway.

The E3 flasher (3K Limited), is that what your asking? How do I check that out?

EDIT1:
NVM, i checked here [http://www.e3-tech.net/index.asp] and it is real/original, not fake.

The only thing I've noticed is that it says it comes with a 'Clip for NOR flash', but I have something called a 'E3 Linker' instead, is that the same thing or something?

The youtube video/tutorial/guide that I plan to follow doesn't mention it at all that I can tell:
E3 FLASHER INSTALLATION and DOWNGRADE TUTORIAL (Khalkedon) - YouTube

I'll post pictures if you need, just ask.
