We all know the PS3 browser is crap & doesn't support lots of websites etc. So I have made a tutorial to connect to the IRC from the PS3 browser.

What you need:
A PS3 connected to the internet
Ability to follow a simple tutorial

Step 1: Open your PS3 internet browser, make sure javascript is enabled & type http://wsirc.mobi/mobileChat.aspx into the browser. (Use this if you do not own a keyboard)

Or if you own a keyboard use this link http://www.wsirc.com/ simply scroll down to the links & click the "chat" button.

Step 2: You will now be greeted by a screen like this.

Server:
Auth:
Channel:
Nick:
Password:

In the server box you need to enter the server of the network you want to connect to, in this case type "irc.ps3sanctuary.com:6667". Make sure 6667 is at the end, this is the port you are connecting to.

The Auth you can leave as "NickServ"

Channel is the area of the server you want to connect to, in this case type "#ps3hax".

Nick is your name to be used while you are connected to the IRC. This can be whatever you like, just make sure it isn't rude or offensive.

Password is anything you choose, I don't need to explain that. Is also optional.

This is what it should look like when complete.

Server: irc.ps3sanctuary.com:6667
Auth: NickServ
Channel: #ps3hax
Nick: Dan
Password: ******

Step 3: You are now in the IRC, if its your first time you now need to register you nick, do this by typing "/ns register yourpassword youremail" or properly this would be "/ns register mypass1234 Dan @google .net".

From then everytime you connect you need to type "/ns id yourpassword" or "/ns id mypass1234"
