Latest versions of MM should already have lv2 patches built in. When I soft-modded my ps3 I only installed MM and BDEMU2 and that was all I needed for it to run my backups.

Some games will require eboot fixes though like I remember my "armored core 4 answer" backup not working properly, but then again I could never get that game working. I'm just saying some games need fixes.

ok, so i tried Rogero Manager 8.5 and it at least comes up and see the god of war 3 backup on my hard drive but it wont play it off of there so i copied it to the hdd and it still wont play the gow 3 backup. Do i need to do or install something extra?

ok, so i installed BDEMU2 and i still cant get god of war 3 to launch from the hdd or the usb. I dont have another game to try right now so do yall think its a gow 3 thing or something else? I have tried going on Rogero forum for help with manager and cfw but they are horrible at answering over there. Please help!!!! i am getting so ****ing frustrated right now..

GOW 3 needs you to have any PS3 game disc in the drive or it wont boot.

Even a demo disc will work.
