at least 12 dead, 50 hit by bullets. The guy had a bomb in his apartment with a booby trap. We don't really know a whole lot now. Probably won't till Monday when it really comes out. After all the reports.

Theaters get shot up all the time in America? I live here and this is the first time I've ever heard of it happening. As far as I can read by this thread it apparently happens everywhere. His name is James Holmes. He's described as a 24 year old white male. I will add that this was only about 25 miles from where the Columbine High School shootings happened. Some things do seem to be more regional. Just like serial killers produced from Wisconsin.

I wasn't aware I had ever done that. Nor am I aware I had ever destroyed a thread. I've seen far worse destruction of threads. I didn't even take it personal. I can't really think of one time in my life I had ever felt like anybody has ever really picked on me...real life or the internet. It was just one crazy man with a gun out of 311 million people. A tragedy none-the-less.

@ona2x That's just ignorant. Couldn't wait to take your shot could you? And yes, if you post stuff like this I'm going to say something. Apparently nobody else will. I just wanted to add that if you think this is the American way then you should see all the people here saddened by this. There's national prayer being held for the victims. Facebook is full of status by people here offering condolences and prayers who are saddened by this. Yeah, I'd say basically the majority of people here condemn this sort of thing.
