De fuq...
Could someone please explain me quickly what is DEX/CEX, how do I know which one I have and can this new DEX 4.20 run backups/homebrews or is it just a 3.55 but spoofed as 4.20 DEX version?
From what I understand is that CEX is retail? When DEX enables you to do back and forth from DEBUG to CEX (retail?) any time you wish, without reformatting or losing any files, etc.?

thats strange the dex 4.20 pup on ps3scenefiles is 178mb and the one on ps3devwiki are 142mb which one to trust.

As far as I know this will allow you to go from CFW 3.55 so you can play all of your backups and homebrew to DEX (developer) OFW 4.20 and play all your legit games up to firmware 4.20.
-EDIT- and then back to cfw 3.55 or I'm completely wrong and someone needs to enlighten me |

The update said 7/24/2012 and now it says released on june i will wait for confirmation before installing this update.
