Is the scene finished?

Now that every game starts appearing with FW 3.60 and there is no way make them work...Is it over?
What are the chances of getting 3.60 keys?

The chances of getting the 3.60 keys are for the Dev's to decide. You'll get your 3.61 CFW when the Dev's feel like an upgrade is necessary.

Why would you want an .ISO loader when we have perfectly fine Backup Managers? Maybe for compression?..

i dont see the point in having .iso support. maybe for ps2 backups but thats a diff story. any game that is in .iso format i just mount with deamon tools and copy the contents to the folder needed..

I love how every time there is a new firmware people ask this question. SHORT ANSWER: HELL NO! seriously people if the scene was finish every time you guys asked this it would never have made it anywhere. If new games are that important UPDATE because the scene doesn't need impatient people. JUST WAIT! There are what 3 maybe a few more games that are unplayable and no new features in the newer firmwares (3.56+) that are worth hacking. when there are more games and features that are worth it, it will appear, til then just wait, your patience will be rewarded. as for the people who bought a PS3 on 3.56, why didn't you swap it for one on 3.55 or lower, otherwise your interest in hacking a ps3 was a little late. People with accident updates, I have no pity for, if homebrew was so important to you you should have payed more attention to your ps3. But back on topic, go ask DeanK, jjolano, squarepusher2, rebug, and many other devs if they think the scene is finished, their answer will be to release another update to the homebrew in their care. So i reiterate myself by saying, NO!

I am by nature an optimist, but even so the 'scene' at the moment is at the very least dormant - no sign of any Gamecube, Dreamcast, N64, PS1 etc emu's or even significant updates of existing ones, no sign of a newer custom cfw, other OS development seems to have ground to a halt.. shame so much potential, c'est la vie!

Emukidd ran into problems with his N64 emu becuase of the need to rewrite it from ppc32 to ppc64 (porting from Wii to ps3). The cobra dongle can handle ps1 and ps2 iso and much more. Squarepusher is always making tweeks and upgrades to the several emulators in his care. Rebug just released new tools to help noobs play with otherOS++. There will be new CFW when it is worth it not when you think we need it. Development of all this stuff takes time, so give it some time

Why does everyone think the scene is dead? There's new stuff coming out practically everyday. It may not be a 3.60 or 3.61 CFW but a lot of stuff is still coming out and people have no right to question a dev`s authority. They`ll release it when they feel like it. Anyone else is welcome to give a crack at it. Now for the games, theres not a LOT of 3.60 games and some 3.60 games have become playable due to a retail update which used 3.55 keys (Brink, Mx vs ATV ALIVE). So just sit tight and relax....enjoy the homebrew and linux
