Logging into PSN while using a Proxy
Hi,
I am looking to use a proxy server while watching mlb.tv on the ps3... so that the IP location appears to be coming from a different part of the country. The challenge seems to be that PSN logs me out when the mlb.tv app is loaded (does the same with netflix and Hulu)... then asks me to log back in, but it won't actually log back in. I was able to setup a proxy server about a week ago without any problems.... but now this logging in & out issue is casuing major problems. I've seen a ton of information on how to log in PSN using PC, but it seems that the goal is different. Can anybody tell me... 1) Is is possible to use a proxy server and still log into PSN or has Sony completely blocked this? 2) If it is possible, could any particular network settings could be interfering with PSN? 3) Does the type of proxy server make any difference? Thanks very much in advance! I have been searching all night on the web and have found lots of info, but haven't been able to get clear on some of these points. KoolAid |
