After market & fake controllers
Hi all. Some time ago I developed an app for Android devices that allows users to play games on their phone via bluetooth using a Sixaxis or Dual Shock 3 controller. Unfortunately almost no after market or fake controllers work with the app - the connection goes well up to the point of sending the special L2CAP feature report, but after that the fake controllers appear to be expecting some further command, as they never start reporting, and timeout soon after. I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with this, and might be able to shed some light on it. If I owned a PS3 I would check out the exact commands being sent from the PS3, so if anyone have a complete dump of the bluetooth traffic during the connection process, that would be most helpful.
