You can stream 3.55 games on 4.20 DEX if you can decrypt the eboot and fself it (make_fself.exe only works on a decrypted .elf, not a signed retail one).

APP_HOME = fself only (no need for update)
BDEMU via USB = retail only (needs update)

I got it to work and I tested it in both 3.55 and 4.11. If you're running 3.55, certain functions will not work. Also you need to be connected to your network by Ethernet cable. It works like a ps3 server. You can turn it on and off from your PC. You can also run system updates and switch hdd images on the fly without resetting. Going to test more stuff.

Using PS3 Generator 3.30 syas on 50 GB dual layer image creation that layer1 is zero. But I can't change it in options. Is it a bug or I'm not gearing in the right direction atm? :o

Great tool I just test it and it work fine
* you can update you ps3 from it, I installed 4.20 dex right from network then went back to 3.55 downgrader without any problem)
* you can manage BD emulator form it ( format, upload, eject or mount disk image )
* install pkg
* change ps3 boot mode (debug mode , system software mode, release mode)
* change XMB setting (system setting, network settings, and debug setting ex: turn off HDCP)
* file explorer
* map file system help you mount your ps3 dev_hdd0 as a directory in your computer, so you can explore it from windows explorer
* and the most awesome feature "load and run executable" (tested deadrising 2 on 4.20 dex work fine):
with this feature you can play your games from your PC (only games compatible with CFW 3.55)
for that you have to first decrypt you EBOOT.BIN
unself EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF
then make un fself from it using make_fself.exe (can be found in sony sdk)
make_fself EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.SELF
move the new created EBOOT.SELF to your game "USRDIR"
on the "load and run executable" window set file serving directory and home directory to:
(your game directory)\(your game ID)\PS3_GAME
example M:\GAMES\BLES00948\PS3_GAME
then PROFIT....
you can take screen shots explore kernel or do what ever you want

Ya, I´m having the same problem.
My PC´s IP adress shows up on the ps3 but then I get the "command error".
I disconnected my firewall but still no luck.

This seems like a great tool. I hope people can make the most of it and dig even deeper into the ps3.
