I've been trying all day but cant seem to figure out how to log in as root. anyone know how to use root?

i used "su" and then i need to type the password but it dosen't shows me that i type it.....

Ok, it doesn't show.... but can you login?

If not try "ps3" (without quotes) with small or capital as password. Maybe try "root" (without quotes) as username...

you can use root terminal. If not in terminal "sudo passwd root" (without quotes) to change the password to what you want. If your looking to compile the metldr exploit to convert to dex (which sounds like you are) forget about make and just get the precompiled metldrpwn for redribbon rc5 and just chmod a+x run.sh, then sh run.sh (as root so sudo or in root terminal) and that should dump your eid0. Use c2d and rename the dex file to my-dex-flash.EID0.NORBIN (if you have a nor ps3) and use multiman CM to flash it.
