I'm using hewman's NOR CEX2DEX tutorial on my CECH-2004B PS3 and whenever I get to the following step:

10. Download script create_hdd_region.sh onto root of your USB pen
• Plug USB Pen into PS3.
• Now Type

Code:

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt

It won't work and shows me this:

Code:

mount: /dev/sda1 already mounted or /mnt busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda1 is mounted on /tmp/petitboot/mnt/sda1

Any help?

I think the part about the BD playback needs changing. There was a fix to allow BD playback on dex machines.

There was,but I cant find the thread where it was posted.
Do you have a link to it? It was called somethign like bdfix.pkg

Did not find anything yet, wiki as the guides/tutorials in this thread state the same = no BR playback.
The only thing i can think is = DRLTools DRLGen v0.90 but it's useless.

Its already mounted..

That's what I thought as well, but when I continue onto the third step after that:

Code:

chmod 755 create_hdd_region.sh

It tells me 'No such file or directory', even though it's in the root of my connected USB HDD, so I presumed it was due to the mounting being incorrect.

I think you have to umount it, then mount it back.

I was wondering. I have a 3rd ps3 on cfw 3.55 and laser no longer reads br disk. If I cex/dex 4.20 will bdemu and all the dex functions work? Or is it like cfw 3.55 that most games wont work if no game in drive.
