i think theres no need 4 lower CFW than 4.2+ while 3.6 games can b patched and only reason 4 higher CFW than 3.55 would b somethin like PSN access

Besides some hardware revisions the main reason that newer models can't downgrade is because of bootldr+metldr iirc. Those 2 are what defines the lowest firmware a system can go to.

If we would have the lvl0 keys we would not need firmware keys anymore right? And does the person w ho released the keys have the lvl 0 key?

IIRC that is quite right. However though I recall hearing that metldr doesn't actually store anything bout the lowest acceptable firmware just bootldr. though that could well be untrue.

Just a thought... what's the difference between this and zadow's idb releases??

I mean we all have the keys and the tools...

i'm not afiliated with zadow nor trying to defend him but he releases idbs and unselfed dongle update eboots and everyone bashes him and PsDev unselfs something that we have the keys for and the release gets a completely different treatment...

don't get me wrong having the elfs on the tubes is nice but i think this does not deserve front page...

He released a 3.55 DONGLE EBOOT.BIN that he unselfed. This is from 3.60 OFW in the Core_OS and all the SELF in their are decrypted (unselfed) His was usless he trolled everyone he released dumb ass stuff
