I was just wondering if anyone could check MGS HD collection fixed eboot?
Is there any reason why only MGS2 and MGS3 work and MGS PEACE WALKER is not working. is it due to sprx files or 3.70 keys or what could go wrong? If anyone wants to check- here's the link Fix Metal Gear Solid HD Collection BLUS30847 http://www.basicupload.com/xdn3g4795lv6 |

Well, ebootfix does that, and it also encrypts the eboot back into a 3.41 non-npdrm disc eboot. But for updates, we don't want a 3.41 disc eboot, we want a proper npdrm-eboot with contentID set

One of my recent fixes like this was Ninja Giaden 3. I done this method using just 1 DISC eboot.bin. Decrypting/encrypting ,adding the eboot code for more than 1 region with just the 1 eboot works as a patch for other game regions ,as long as you add the patch code for each = proper, but not always ,but it does work for many games. After all the eboot from a patch is the "DISC" eboot in NPRDM format. Though i would add this for those who like to make them DISC fixes in to a patch for the games that have only disc eboot fixes , why not go the extra step for a patch to boot off dev_hdd0. Save yourself having to mess up your original game + no need to back up the fix files for DISC if you are like myself .You never know if you may need them original files one day . Well all i can say it has been nice being away "rest". While finally a moment in the scene where people have worked together & not just people like me trying to do it for everyone & teamwork if much better than just a few people fixing games, but some people just don't see it like this & like to get the (Virtual rep) which i fine if that is how you want to be, but at the same time i do find this sad if this is there only intention Virtual REP. I think we will not see the tools for problem .self posted anytime soon. I will be surprised if it does. The only reason we seen the modified unselfs posted in the past was before any games were fixed for psn or retail patches decrypted ,only debug patches were able to decrypt to the public . The modified unself tools were posted openly in the beginning, but shortly after a certain few figured it out = disappeared & never posted the tools they had created that worked. I sure hope somebody with knowledge can figure that out how to make a working tool for npdrm selfs past 355. Even still Black ops with a "revision 350" self can not be decrypted & so on & the proper keys are here ,but lacks the proper unself. After that had happened no modified unself versions were released beyond v3 with magic added to the unself..
