Just beware, the keys i got from the thread for scetools didn't work for some reason but I did manage to find something posted by someone else that does work...
data.zip Also this does not patch the version check in the eboot like someone else on this thread mentioned. Be awesome if someone could make a tool to automatically hex edit the eboot to version 3.55 or lower before re-encrypting

That there were floating some wrong keysets I already mentioned in this Thread. But in the Post from longhornx are the right keys.
Your Eboot get edited before you reencrypt it, when you use my Guide and the Tools I posted. If the Eboot Version wouldn't change to 3.55 or lower you can't use the encrypted Eboot on a cfw 3.55. Or do I understand you wrong?! Sorry, it's late and I should get some sleep... :D |

and now someone should make _D_S_ work into a tool, because it seems to be the only reliable way of making 3.60 fixes at the moment. all the other tools do not work completely (at least not if you use only one programm to do it all).
there are numerous users having 800XXXX errors because some keys were not implemented (for whatever reason) or something else wasn't programmed correctly. Big congrats for _D_S_ who made this possible!!! |

@naddel81
: The batch file is an automated "tool". Sure it doesn't have some gui, but it's still pretty easy to use (and learn)
You can do everything by hand also.. extract & decrypt the elf from eboot, patch the version check w/ hexeditor, encrypt it again., pkg the thing up. (or put eboot in game folder, if it's disc eboot.) |

Hi, I've been following this thread for a while. I've tried myself and succeeded. Thank you _D_S_ and muny21!!
One question: why does installing all official updates and then replacing the eboot+param manually in hdd0/game/bces00569 give me the message that the game needs FW3.60? (no spoofer) When I package the eboot+param as muny21 explained it does work. What is different? |

I would really like to know that, too!
I thought all the PKG does is replace/overwrite the old files. and ftp'ing them manually should not make a difference. Apparently it does. But why? |
